His group has a stronghold on temple city. His brother Shankar wants to get into his brother's shoes but Kaali always prefers another follower Vijay Krishna. Vijay Krishna is right hand to Kali. Kali's brother Shankar Prasad does not like the supremacy of Vijay Krishna. To gain the supremacy, Shankar murders Kaali Prasad in a conspiracy and subsequently kills Vijay Krishna too.
