Don is a 2007 Telugu film directed by Lawrence. The film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead role and Anushka Shetty, Raghava Lawrence, Kelly Dorjee, and Nikita in other prominent roles. Lawrence also made his debut music director for the film. The film released on 20 December 2007. This film has also been dubbed into Malayalam on release as 'Bhai' and recently dubbed into Hindi as "Don No. 1" under the Royal Film Company's supervision.
The story begins when a teen named Suri escapes and finds a drug dealer tormenting some little boys. Suri guns down the drug dealer. One of the boys, Raghava expresses his wish to join him. The rest of the boys too become Suri's helpers and eventually his henchman.
The film continues 20 years later with Suri (Nagarjuna) and Raghava (Raghava Lawrence) and with the establishment of the fact that Suri is the Don with a golden heart. Then of course, he has Raghava as his sidekick, who adores him to death. Together, they rule the underworld of Andhra Pradesh. Since he is the unopposed kingpin, our don even has time for a song and dance on his birthday with his basti people. Everything is peaceful and hunky dory. But only till Stephan (Kelly Dorjee) enters the scene. Stephan is a feared don throughout India and he wants to add Andhra Pradesh to his underworld fiefdom. That's what sets off the battle of the dons.
Suri begins to upset Stephan, because Suri refuses to work with Stephan. In many attempts to kill Suri, Stephan's men get killed. One man (Kota Srinivas Rao) wants to kill Raghava. Eventually, Don lets Raghava kill the man because the man also hosted a hideout for Stephan's men in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Don falls in love with Priya (because of the three things he wants in his wife: to be kind, beautiful, and not to be afraid of him), at first she doesn't like him but later she also begins to like him.
Raghava also finds a girl he likes. In that process, Raghava is cornered, where his fiance Nandhini, ends up being on the villains side. Raghava is killed. What happens to Don forms the rest of the crux.

Mantra's (Charmme) parents die when she was young and she lives with her friend Vinny (Karuna Sri). She inherits an ancestral property called 'Mantra Nilayam' in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Mantra Nilayam is called as haunted house because of two untimely deaths in that farm house few years back. She wants to sell it off, but no body comes forward to buy the property due to its reputation. A professor comes forward to buy that house with a condition that somebody should stay there for three months. Hero (Sivaji) is a small time goon who looks after land settlements. Hero wants to stay in the house so that he would get a commission of the sale once 'Mantra Nilayam' is sold. The rest of the story is all about how Hero demystifies everything.
Parvataneni Tulasi Ram aka Tulasi (Venkatesh) is a native of Palnadu region. As his region is well known for factional feuds, his father Dasaradha Ramayya (Vijaykumar) keeps him away in Hyderabad and get him educated and makes him an architect. Once he goes to an abroad trip, where he comes across Vasundhara aka Vasu (Nayantara) and loses his heart. He marries her and they continue to lead a happy life. When Vasu turns pregnant, Tulasi takes her to their native place to share the happy moments with the entire family.
He turns violent when a rival faction pushes his father and teaches all of them a big lesson with a lot of bloodshed. Even as he was silent, the factional feuds continue to haunt him and Vasu couldn't digest the violence and deserts him with their son Harsha (Atulith), when her brother (Sivaji) dies in the attack by factionists. Later, Tulasi comes to know that Harsha has a blood clot in his brain and it may cause hemorrhage. With the help of Dr Surekha (Ramya Krishnan), he summons specialists from abroad to get him operated. When everything is ready for the surgery, a gangster (Ashish Vidyarthi) takes away the boy, as both of his sons were killed by Tulasi. In the climax, again Tulasi turns violent and kills everyone to save his son's life. Learning that violence would not only take the lives but also saves lives, Vasu reunites with Tulasi and the film ends on a happy note.

Raja (NTR) is a petty thief who abuses Yama Dharma Raja (Mohan Babu) in an Inebriated condition. Yama observes it and makes sure that Raja gets killed in the next few days, though he is entitled for the full life of 100 years. Raja goes to Yamalokam and realizes that he is unjusticely killed due to the meanness of Yama. He creates confussion in Yamalokam as whoever in possession of amapasam will become Yama, The rest of the story is all about how and Raja try to outsmart each other.
Sri Krishna (Siddhardh) grows up watching films playing in the theater in which his father works as a movie-projectionist in a village. Satya (Ileana) is harassed by Vicky (Munna) - son of a politician - who wants to marry her. Satya escapes from home & Sri Krishna falls in love with her the first time he meets her. As the goons and police chase Satya, Sri Krishna protects her & drops her in the house of the politician. He wins Munna's confidence. The rest of the story is the one-sided game between Sri Krishna and Munna.
Munna (Prabhas) is an orphan who grows up in a orphanage & Studies with the help of scholarships. Kakha (Prakash Raj) is the mafia don in the city. Munna's fight with Kakha's son in the college leads to confrontation between Munna and Kakha. Munna becomes Mr.dependable to the locals & starts building his empire to help people whereas Kakha tries to eliminate him. The rest of the story is all about how Munna defeats Kakha.

Bala Govind (Allu Arjun) is a program director in MAA TV. His fights for justice regularly get him into trouble. During one of these incidents, he saves a person (Raja Ravindra) from goons while severely thrashing Murugan (Subbaraju), son of the notorious smuggler Tambi Durai (Pradeep Rawat). Fearing retribution from Tambi Durai, the MAA TV crew sends Bala to Kulu Manali to shoot a travel episode, where Bala meets Vaishali (Hansika Motwani), who is a sanyasin. It is love at first sight for Bala. Vaishali, though initially apprehensive of Bala, falls for him. The head sanyasin of the ashram (Ramaprabha) unites the couple. However, before Bala is able to return to Hyderabad with Vaishali and marry her, some goons kidnap her. Bala returns to Hyderabad and finds that she is with Tambi Durai. The person who was saved by Bala in the beginning reveals that Vaishali is the daughter of Narayana Patwari. In order to grab Patwari's property, Tambi Durai killed him and his wife and performed the marriage of Vaishali with Murugan in front of their dead bodies. However, Vaishali escapes and reaches Kulu Manali. Bala decides to save Vaishali from their clutches and eventually succeeds in his attempt.
